General Aims

• Provide knowledge and understanding of information technology as applied in a computerized business environment.


• Provide knowledge and understanding of information technology theory and Practice


• Develop the ability to apply information technology solutions in a business context


• Develop the ability to make sound business decisions regarding applications of information Technology

There are numerous employment areas: quality management and standards, education and training, research, software testing, database design, configuration and change management, systems development, web design and so on.

Admission Requirements

• Applicants must have minimum entry requirements as specified by the rules and regulations of Kabarak University


• In addition to the minimum entrance requirements of Kabarak University (overall C+ at KCSE) applicants must have:
  A minimum grade of C (C plain) in Mathematics and English
