2019 Edition
This year’s edition of the half marathon road race will be held on Saturday 3rd August 2019 with 21km (Men & Women Senior Level), 10km individual category, 5km corporate and 5km KABU community race.

• Increase student sponsorship with a focus on needy students enrolled for various courses offered in
Kabarak University.
• Encourage, inspire and motivate people of all ages and backgrounds to improve their mental and
physical health through running and exercise.
• Establish and grow partnerships with individuals and organizations to participate in developing and
nurturing talents among the youth.

Eliud Kipchoge
Eliud Kipchoge is a Kenyan long-distance runner who competes in the marathon and formerly the 5000 metres.
Vivian Cheruiyot
Kenyan long-distance runner who specialises in track and cross country running, olympic champion in 5000 metres event.
Mercy Cherono
She was the silver medalist in the 5000 metres at the 2013 World Championships in Athletics.
