Kabarak University Signs M.O.U. with Baringo County Government
Kabarak University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Henry Kiplangat and Governor Stanley Kiptis signed a memorandum of understanding (M.O.U) between Baringo County Government and Kabarak University on digitalization of health information systems in all Baringo County health facilities to improve on service delivery.
Other areas of engagement in the M.O.U will be; Technical support to improve skills of Baringo county government staff , joint research ventures, health standardization, policy development, student internships opportunities and joint proposals for funding of activities.
Present during the signing of the memorandum of understanding was, Prof. John Ochola – Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic and Research, Dr. Moses Thiga – Director Research Innovation and Outreach, Deputy Governor Jacob Chepkwony, Health department officials led by Dr. Rotich CEC Health and County assembly Committee health membership.
