Dr. Moses Alela is a gifted Dean/Lecturer/Teacher/Pastor and dedicated scholar. He values servant transformational leadership by encouraging others to discover, develop, and use their Spiritual Gifts & talents for Christian Development.
A relentless advocate for holistic Christian ministry through which people’s physical & spiritual needs can be met simultaneously, Dr. Alela emphasizes on Christian development which allows people to become what God intends for them.
Dr. Alela holds a Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies(World Missions & Evangelism) and  , a Master of Theology in World Missions &  Evangelism both from Asbury Theological Seminary, Wilmore, KY., USA; a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Nairobi Evangelical Graduate School of Theology; Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.) from Kenya Highlands Bible College, Kenya and Asbury College, USA, Diploma of Christian Ministry from KIST, Kenya & a Certificate of Range Management from AHITI Kabete.

The mandate of Sports and Recreation is to accommodate the sporting needs of the students and further increase student participation and develop a specific goal oriented action plans.
Philosophy
Sports Office broadens Kabarak University horizon and act as a forum for unifying students through sports, particularly in the areas of advancing the values of participation, teamwork, individual contribution and leadership. It focuses on the priorities of identity, and organizational structure for its long term success. Sports and Recreation is not an end in itself—but rather reflects a way of thinking and an ongoing process.
