Kabarak University is committed to provision of a holistic and world class quality education in Biblical Christian perspective through teaching, research, innovation and community service.

In keeping with the community service agenda, the University organizes yearly Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities as a way of giving back to the community.

On Friday, 9th November 2018 a group of staff and students spent the day with Sunrise Children’s Home in Kabarnet town thereafter donating foodstuff, clothes and sanitary towels.

Sunrise meaning daybreak houses orphans and abandoned children. Its story dates back to one selfless household (The Late Peter Sang and Mrs Mary Sang) deciding to sacrificially share their resources and family home with the vulnerable children of Baringo County.  Fifteen years later the home is surely living up to its name illuminating light and hope to this less fortunate children.

Overwhelmed with joy, the Director, Mrs Mary Sang expressed gratitude to the University for supporting the children in the home.
