Kabarak University Participates in Uganda’s National Private Schools Day 2025

Kabarak University was honored to take part in the 4th Annual National Private Educational Institutions Association of Uganda (NPEIA-UG) Conference, hosted at Uganda Christian University in Mukono. The event, celebrated as National Private Schools Day 2025, brought together education leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders from across the region to discuss the future of private education.

Themed “Accelerating actions for the growth and development of private education service and investment sector in Uganda,” the conference focused on how private institutions can work together to drive innovation, strengthen quality, and expand opportunities for learners.

Kabarak University was represented by Mr. Andrew Marangu, our Corporate Communication and Marketing Manager. During the conference, he joined distinguished leaders, including the Vice-Chancellor of Uganda Christian University, the Director of Higher Education, and the Minister of Education, with whom he was captured in conversation and in warm handshakes, as the Kenya Private Schools Association (KPSA) Chair looked on. Another memorable moment was the Minister of Education officially greeting the Chair of the National Private Educational Institutions Association of Uganda — a gesture that symbolized strong collaboration across borders.

In a special highlight, Mr. Marangu received a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the growth and success of the Kenya Private Schools Association and the East African region.

This recognition not only celebrates his dedication but also reflects Kabarak’s wider commitment to excellence, collaboration, and regional impact. By taking part in such forums, Kabarak University continues to play an active role in shaping education across East Africa, staying true to its vision of being a center of academic excellence founded on Christian values.
