Grants and Resource Mobilization

The Grants and Resource Mobilization function in the Directorate of Research, Innovation and Outreach plays a vital role in securing funding for innovative research projects and initiatives. The function provides support and guidance to faculty, students, and staff in seeking out and obtaining external funding opportunities.

Our team of experts has a deep understanding of the grant landscape and is dedicated to finding funding opportunities that align with the University's research priorities. Our goal is to increase the competitiveness of proposals submitted by the University and to help researchers secure funding to further their important work.

In order to achieve these goals, we offer a range of services, including:

  • Grant Opportunity Searches: Searching for funding opportunities that are relevant to the research needs of our faculty, students, and staff.
  • Proposal Preparation and Submission Support: Providing support in the preparation of grant proposals, including editing, formatting, and submission assistance.
  • Grant Management: Managing grants, including overseeing budget expenditures and reporting requirements.
  • Training and Workshops: Providing training and workshops on various aspects of the grant application process, including proposal writing and budget preparation.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with other departments within the University to help researchers identify and apply for funding opportunities that are relevant to their work.

We are committed to helping our researchers secure the funding they need to further their important work and make meaningful contributions to their fields.
