Kabarak University successfully hosted the Hult Prize On-Campus Competition on 1st February 2025 at KABUO. This prestigious competition brought together eight dynamic teams of student innovators within the university, each presenting groundbreaking solutions to global challenges.
After a highly competitive pitch session, the top three teams emerged:
- ResQNode – 1st Place
- Asthma-Guard – 2nd Place
- Triple-C – 3rd Place
The event featured a distinguished panel of four judges from the Hult Prize Foundation and 3 more judges from within, who provided valuable insights and feedback to the teams. The competition was graced by Hult Prize Faculty Advisors, Dr. Ezra Ronoh and Mr. Shadrack Koech, whose guidance was instrumental in mentoring the participants.
Led by Campus Director Boaz Omato, the competition aimed to nurture innovative thinking and entrepreneurial leadership among students. The winners will now proceed to the Hult Prize National Summits, where they will compete on an national stage, showcasing the ingenuity and talent fostered at Kabarak University.
