On October 10th, 2024, Kabarak University Scouts, under the leadership of Scout Captain Boaz Masika Omato, participated in the annual Mazingira Day celebrations held in Nakuru Town East. The event, organized by the Nakuru County Department of Environment, aimed to raise awareness about environmental issues and promote sustainable practices.
The Scouts from Kabarak University played an active role in the event, which was marked by tree-planting exercises, clean-up activities, and engaging panel discussions. The Scouts not only participated in these activities but also joined discussions on green innovations and climate change advocacy.
