Celebrating Team Spirit and Triumph During the Sports Week Inter-Schools Competition

From 1st to 4th July 2025, the University Sports Grounds came alive with energy, cheers, and the true spirit of competition as Kabarak University hosted an inter-schools Sports Week. Students from across our campuses showcased their talents and resilience in a thrilling lineup of games, including Football, Hockey, Handball, Basketball, and Badminton.

The week delivered unforgettable moments:

  • In men’s football, the KUBSA team clinched victory over KUESA after a tense final that ended in a penalty shootout.
  • The SSET ladies' football team dominated the City Campus with an impressive 5-0 win. The 
  • SMHS men’s basketball team triumphed against KUBSA, highlighting their strong teamwork and skill.
  • KULSA emerged victorious in handball, defeating KUBSA in a spirited match.
  • In badminton, Trevor Oduol represented SSET in the men’s category, while Jane Musembi from KUBSA secured the ladies’ title.

This Sports Week not only celebrated athletic excellence but also strengthened camaraderie and school pride across our University. Congratulations to all the teams and participants for making this event a success!
