The atmosphere at Kabarak University grounds was nothing short of electrifying as our men’s football team faced off against AFC Leopards (Ingwe), one of Kenya’s most celebrated Premier League clubs. The friendly match drew excitement, pride, and immense support from students, staff, and fans who turned up to cheer the home side.
From the very first whistle, Kabarak’s team displayed grit, passion, and determination, standing tall against seasoned professionals. With disciplined play and spirited teamwork, our boys held their ground and delivered moments of brilliance that drew thunderous applause from the stands.
Though the match ended 3-1 in favor of the Leopards, the result told only part of the story. Our lone goal was celebrated like a trophy, a reminder that with hard work and faith, even giants can be challenged. This was an invaluable learning experience that gave our players the chance to measure themselves against elite competition, sharpening their skills and resilience.
At the end of the day, victory came in many forms: in the lessons learned, the pride inspired, and the community spirit that united us all.
