The Kabarak University fraternity is proud to host the KUSSA Rift Regionals 2025 Tournament, bringing together universities from across the Rift region, including Egerton University, the University of Eldoret (UOE), Maasai Mara University, Koitalel University, and Bomet University.
The tournament features an exciting lineup of games such as table tennis, badminton, lawn tennis, scrabble, taekwondo, karate, and chess.
So far, Kabarak teams have delivered outstanding performances. The men’s and women’s table tennis teams, led by their resilient captain Victor Kiplagat, have booked their places in the semifinals. In badminton, under the leadership of Bravin Obakha, our team has also showcased remarkable skill, securing a spot in the finals. The men’s chess team is preparing for a decisive round tomorrow that will determine who qualifies for the nationals, while the chess queens continue their strong run, maintaining their place in the race for the KUSSA Nationals.
The entire university community is excited to host this prestigious event, which not only promotes sportsmanship and unity among Rift region universities but also highlights Kabarak’s growing sports culture.
