Kabarak University proudly participated in the Africa Regional Finals of the China International College Students’ Innovation Competition (CICSIC) 2025 – Africa Division, held on 25th July 2025 at the Argyle Grand Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya. This prestigious event brought together top student innovators from across the continent and was co-organized by Nanjing Agricultural University (China), Kabarak University, Egerton University, and the Kenya Chinese Youth Association. The corresponding sub-venue was hosted at Nanjing Agricultural University in China.
Kabarak University was represented by four outstanding teams—LifeTrack, RespiraMate, Mkulima Hub, and ResQNode—who showcased innovative solutions addressing real-world challenges. The teams performed exceptionally well and were honored with Silver and Bronze Awards.
In addition to the accolades, the university teams received a cash prize in recognition of their creativity, technical ingenuity, and impactful contributions.
The event was graced by several distinguished guests, including Professor Henry Kiplangat, Vice-Chancellor of Kabarak University, who served as one of the Chief Guests. His presence underscored the university’s unwavering commitment to innovation, academic excellence, and global collaboration.
