JOOTRH Stakeholders Meeting on Health Sciences Education Collaboration at Kabarak University

Kabarak University proudly served as the host for a pivotal joint planning meeting for all health sciences training institutions affiliated with Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital (JOOTRH) for clinical training. Held on November 14th at the Hekima Auditorium, the meeting addressed key topics to enhance learning quality and develop a comprehensive master rotation plan for student placements.

The session was led by Mr. Jeremiah from JOOTRH's Student Coordination Department and Dr. Mulongo from Kabarak University, with a primary focus on securing optimal clinical placement slots for students across all participating institutions. Representatives from Kabarak University, Uzima University, Maseno University, Maseno Mission School of Nursing, Great Lakes University, Joan's School of Nursing, Kendu Adventist, MMUST, St. Catherine's School of Nursing, and the JOOTRH Training School actively contributed to these discussions.

Through collaborative planning, the meeting aimed to improve clinical education standards and prepare future healthcare professionals to address the region's growing healthcare needs. This event also provided Kabarak University with a valuable opportunity to highlight its commitment to healthcare education and its influential role in advancing the future of the healthcare industry.
