Kabarak University proudly took part in the 7th Librarians and Archivists Gathering, hosted on September 26, 2025, at the Adventist University of Africa. The event, organized by the Jesuit Historical Institute in Africa (JHIA), brought together professionals from across institutions to reflect on the theme: “Records Management Systems, Procedures and Structures.”

Our University was ably represented by Mr. William Mundui, the Archives In-Charge, who joined fellow librarians and archivists in exploring new ways of strengthening record-keeping systems, enhancing organizational efficiency, and aligning archival practices with modern technological trends.

The gathering provided a valuable space for knowledge sharing, networking, and discussing the critical role of archives and records management in supporting education, research, and institutional memory. Through such engagements, Kabarak University continues to strengthen its approach to information and records management, ensuring our systems remain dynamic, trustworthy, and well-aligned with the evolving needs of academia and society.
