Raila Odinga Commends Kabarak as VC Prof. Henry Kiplangat Highlights Graduation Milestones and STEM Success

Kabarak University's 20th graduation ceremony was nothing short of extraordinary, imbued with an air of achievement and anticipation. Presiding over the grand occasion, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Henry Kiplangat welcomed distinguished guests, including the university's Chancellor, Dr. Gideon Moi, and the Rt. Hon. Raila Amollo Odinga, the African Union Commission (AUC) Chairperson candidate. The event celebrated the accomplishments of 2,541 graduates while reflecting on the university’s remarkable strides in education, innovation, and global impact.

He praised the university for its bold advancements in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), particularly its cutting-edge programs in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, which he described as key drivers of technological progress. “Kabarak University’s embrace of technology is a commitment to shaping the future of this nation and the continent,” he remarked, drawing attention to the visionary foundation laid by the university’s founder, the late President Daniel Toroitich arap Moi. Honoring this legacy, Odinga lauded Kabarak for fostering an environment that promotes intellectual growth, moral grounding, and innovation.

Beyond STEM, Rt. Hon. Odinga commended Kabarak’s unwavering dedication to excellence in research, education, and innovation. He applauded the university’s ability to blend academic rigor with practical application, producing graduates who are not just thinkers but doers. “The standards upheld here are a testament to the greatness envisioned by its founder and carried forward by its able leadership,” he said.
