Kabarak University has once again solidified its position as a center of academic excellence and innovation in the region. At the prestigious 8th Edition of the Africa Champions Awards, held on December 23, 2025, at the Argyle Grand Hotel in Nairobi, the University emerged as the Best Performing Higher Learning Institution in Kenya for the Year 2025.
In a double win for the institution, our Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Henry Kiptiony Kiplangat, PhD, MBS, OGW, was honoured with the Most Visionary Higher Learning Institution C.E.O in Kenya award.

The recognition follows a series of milestones that have seen Kabarak University lead from the front in the digital and research landscapes.
The institution was specifically lauded for its robust research output and its role in nurturing tech talent that addresses local and global challenges. By prioritizing innovation, Kabarak is not just teaching for today but is preparing its students for the complexities of the future workforce.
Prof. Henry Kiplangat’s recognition as the Most Visionary C.E.O. is a testament to the strategic leadership that has steered the university toward international standards. Under his guidance, Kabarak has expanded its infrastructure, enhanced its research capabilities, and fostered a culture of integrity and excellence rooted in Christian values.

This achievement belongs to the entire Kabarak family, our dedicated faculty, industrious students, supportive alumni, and partners.
"These awards are a validation of our hard work and our mission to provide education that transforms lives," the Vice-Chancellor noted during the gala event. "We remain committed to being a lighthouse of knowledge, research, and innovation in Kenya and beyond."

As we celebrate these milestones, Kabarak University invites prospective students and partners to join us on this journey of excellence.
