During a recent Kenya Education Network (KENET) recognition forum, the University was honoured and awarded a trophy in recognition of being the top-ranked university in Kenya in terms of Unlimited Bandwidth Consumption Ratio — a testament to our robust digital infrastructure and our commitment to excellence in teaching, learning, and research.

Kabarak University has once again solidified its position as a center of academic excellence and innovation in the region. At the prestigious 8th Edition of the Africa Champions Awards, held on December 23, 2025, at the Argyle Grand Hotel in Nairobi, the University emerged as the Best Performing Higher Learning Institution in Kenya for the Year 2025.

Today marks a monumental day for Kabarak University as we celebrate the official conferment of the prestigious rank of Senior Counsel (SC) on our own Senior Lecturer, Elisha Zebedee Ongoya. The honour was bestowed by His Excellency President William Ruto at State House, Nairobi, alongside 53 other distinguished advocates, making this one of the most significant and inclusive cohorts in Kenya’s legal history.

The Kabarak University Red Cross Chapter has been officially recognized by the Kenya Red Cross Society as the Best University Chapter in the country.

Kabarak University has once again taken the national spotlight after achieving a historic victory at the 2025 Company of the Year Awards (COYA), organised under the prestigious seal of the Kenya Institute of Management (KIM).

Kabarak University has marked another historic milestone on the regional stage, emerging as the Overall Company of the Year (Large Enterprise) at the 2025 East African Community (EAC) Regional Quality Awards held on Monday, 10th November 2025, at the Weston Hotel in Nairobi. The University also secured the 2nd Runners-Up position in the Service of the Year – Large Enterprises Category, cementing its place among East Africa’s most distinguished institutions.
