Kabarak University School of Pharmacy calls for research findings for presentation during its 1st  Annual International Pharmacy Conference that will be held between 26th and 28th June 2023.

Theme: ‘Changing landscape in pharmacy practice through technology, complementary and alternative medicine’

Conference objectives

The conference seeks to:

  • Focus on how technology have been used in E- prescription especially in era of limited movement during COVID and election period.
  • Explore and share research and developments in pharmacy practice by using complimentary or alternative medicine in managing various ailment
  • How biotechnology have been used to develop new medicinal products including computer biotechnology

Tracks

The conference will feature the following tracks:

  • E-prescription and challenges
  • Bioinformatics and drug development
  • Alternative medicine and successes
  • Complimentary medicine and management of lifestyle diseases

Publication

All submissions will be peer reviewed for publication in a special issue of the Kabarak University Journal of Medical Pharmaceutical and Allied Sciences (KJMPS) which will be charged separately.  https://journals.kabarak.ac.ke/index.php/kjmps
