Friday, 4th July 2025 marked Day 3 of the Nakuru National Agricultural Show, and it came with yet another proud moment for Kabarak University and the Kabarak University TVET Institute—the official presentation of the seven trophies awarded to the institution earlier in the week.
The ceremony was held at the ASK Nakuru Arena, with Hon. Mutahi Kagwe, Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture and Livestock Development, serving as the Chief Guest. In his remarks, Hon. Kagwe applauded the exhibitors for showcasing innovations that drive Kenya’s agricultural transformation and expressed sincere appreciation to sponsors such as Kabarak University for their support in making the show a success.
It was a moment of great honour as Hon. Mutahi Kagwe and H.E. Hon. David Kones, Deputy Governor of Nakuru County, visited the Kabarak University and Kabarak TVET Institute exhibition stand. The leaders engaged with our student innovators and were impressed by the AI-driven, sustainable solutions on display — all under the internal theme: "Innovating in the Era of Artificial Intelligence."
Representing the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ronald Chepkilot, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration & Finance), officially presented a sponsorship cheque during a luncheon hosted by the Agricultural Society of Kenya following the awards presentation.
This recognition not only celebrates our achievements but also highlights Kabarak’s growing influence in technology, education, and community development through innovative research and practical solutions.
