Kabarak University made a remarkable impact at the Baringo Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) Show, held last week and concluding on Sunday, 22nd September 2024. The Nairobi Mega National Smart Career Fair, the largest career fair in the region, brings together universities, colleges, and TVETs (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) institutions under one platform. This prestigious event, hosted by NTV, is taking place today, Friday, July 12th, through tomorrow, Saturday, July 13th. It gathers thousands of ambitious individuals – youths, students, and KCSE graduates – eager to forge paths in diverse industries. Kabarak University's presence highlights its commitment to preparing students for the challenges of tomorrow's job market through a robust academic curriculum and practical learning experiences.

Kabarak University has once again proven its commitment to excellence by securing the Best University Stand award for the second consecutive year at the National Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) Nakuru Show. This prestigious recognition, presented at the Nakuru ASK Showground, highlights the university's unwavering dedication to providing top-notch education and services. Last year, the accolade was presented by Deputy President Hon. Rigathi Gachagua, and this year, the honor was bestowed by the Cabinet Secretary of Agriculture, Hon. Linturi Mithika to Dr. Michael Walekhwa and Ms. Faith Dantewo representing the University.

Kabarak University has once again demonstrated its commitment to excellence and innovation by securing top positions at the ongoing Nakuru National Agricultural Show 2024, organized by the Agricultural Society of Kenya. The university was awarded the coveted first position for the Best University Stand, highlighting its superior presentation and engagement with attendees. In addition, Kabarak University emerged as the First Runners-up in the category of Best Stand in Research and Development in Education, and Second Runners-up for the Best Stand that Interprets the Current Show Theme in Education and/or Research. These accolades underscore Kabarak's dedication to advancing education and research.

In a spectacular showcase of agricultural innovation and excellence, Kabarak University emerged as a shining star at the 2023 Nakuru Agricultural Showground. The event was officially opened by the Kenya Deputy President, Hon. Rigathi Gachagua, accompanied by Nakuru Governor, Hon. Susan Kihika, and Agriculture Cabinet Secretary, Hon. Mithika Linturi. The university's outstanding performance earned them special recognition and awards from the Deputy President, marking a significant milestone in Kabarak University's journey at the ASK Show 2023. This achievement would not have been possible without the dedicated support and leadership of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Henry Kiplangat.
