Day Three of the 2026 Nakuru National Agricultural Show, organized by the Agricultural Society of Kenya (A.S.K), was a memorable one for Kabarak University, marked by high-level engagements and a well-deserved recognition for excellence.

The day began with our Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Henry Kiplagat, joining other distinguished leaders in welcoming the Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture and Livestock Development, Hon. Mutahi Kagwe, before accompanying him on a tour of the exhibition grounds. During the visit, the delegation interacted with exhibitors from across the country, while the Kabarak University stand attracted hundreds of visitors eager to learn more about the University's academic programmes, research, and student-led innovations.

The day's activities reached their peak during the awards ceremony, where Kabarak University received a trophy in recognition of its outstanding and top-performing exhibition at this year's ASK Show. The award was presented by Hon. Mutahi Kagwe to Vice-Chancellor Prof. Henry Kiplagat in a proud moment for the entire Kabarak University community.

Receiving the trophy on behalf of the University, Prof. Kiplagat thanked everyone who contributed to the achievement, noting that it was the result of a shared commitment to excellence and teamwork. He paid special tribute to the innovation team, led by Dr. Kipkebut, whose coordination and hard work were instrumental in delivering the award-winning exhibition.
