Kabarak University Rugby Team Crowned Overall Division 2 Champions at SportPesa National 7s Circuit

The Kabarak University Rugby Team has clinched the coveted Division 2 title at the SportPesa National 7s Circuit, securing their place in rugby history. At the Prinsloo 7s, held at the National Athletics Club, Kabarak emerged as overall champions, earning a promotion to Division 1—a significant achievement that cemented their status among Kenya's rugby elite.

The team from Kabarak showcased blistering pace, tactical scrums, and clinical finishes throughout the circuit. Their victory is a testament to their skill and unwavering determination to compete against some of the biggest names in Kenyan rugby. From handling high-pressure tackles to sidestepping fierce opponents, the team stood their ground and emerged triumphant.

Coach Leo Ngetich had nothing but praise for his squad. "These boys have worked tirelessly to earn this moment," he said. "I trust their abilities, and we're ready to take on Division 1 with full force."
