Kabarak University Joins Global University Network for Innovation (GUNi)
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Henry K. Kiplangat is delighted to announce that the great Kabarak University has been accepted as a permanent member of the Global University Network for Innovation (GUNi), with the designation taking effect on October 6, 2022. GUNi is a leading think tank on higher education policy and management, with 290 members from 86 countries and support from UNESCO and the United Nations University.
As a GUNi member, Kabarak University will benefit from being part of a global network of higher education institutions that are dedicated to promoting innovative processes in worldwide higher education. Additionally, the university will have the opportunity to network with similar institutions from around the world and share its own research and publications with a highly specialized audience.
Kabarak University will Network with analogous institutions at local, regional and international levels that share the vision of public service, relevance and social responsibility of higher education apart from Attending the GUNi conferences at a reduced fee and enjoy priority treatment in the selection of speakers.
Kabarak University will also have access to the Higher Education in the World Report, a collective work published as part of the GUNi Series on the Social Commitment of Universities. The university will also receive priority treatment when it comes to attending GUNi conferences and speaking opportunities.
