Construction of the new Anatomy Laboratory at Kabarak University has reached 45 per cent completion, marking another step in the University's investment in medical training infrastructure. The progress was confirmed during a site inspection led by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Henry K. Kiplangat, accompanied by members of University Management.
The inspection provided an opportunity to assess the progress of construction, review the implementation of the project and engage the construction team on the remaining works and the next stages of development.
Anatomy is a fundamental component of medical education, giving students essential knowledge of the structure and organisation of the human body. The new laboratory is being developed to provide a dedicated space for practical instruction and strengthen the University's capacity to deliver quality medical training.
Previous project inspections have focused on important structural and functional requirements, including space utilisation, ventilation, specialised laboratory stations and provisions for modern medical teaching equipment. The latest assessment builds on these efforts, ensuring that the facility takes shape in line with the demands of contemporary medical education.
As construction progresses, the University is focused on developing a facility that will provide an effective learning environment and support the training of competent, skilled and compassionate healthcare professionals.
The Anatomy Laboratory is part of the University's broader investment in teaching and learning infrastructure, supporting its mission of providing World-Class Education in Biblical Perspective.
