Day 2 of our Annual Staff Seminar was a powerful continuation of our journey toward institutional excellence. Following a high-impact opening day, today focused on the practical frameworks and ethical foundations that sustain a world-class university.
The morning began with a deep dive into Professional Ethics, Compliance, and the Kabarak Brand. In an evolving educational landscape, our commitment to integrity and biblical Christian values remains our strongest competitive advantage. Staff engaged in vital discussions on how individual conduct directly shapes the University's reputation and the trust placed in us by our stakeholders.
A major highlight of the day was the exploration of Artificial Intelligence in Education. As technology reshapes how we teach and learn, we examined how Kabarak can leverage AI to enhance efficiency and research while ensuring that our human-centered, value-based approach to mentorship remains at the core of the student experience.

We also addressed our Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) Readiness. With the changing face of the Kenyan education system, Kabarak University is positioning itself as a leader in receiving and nurturing the next generation of learners. Today’s sessions ensured that every department, academic and administrative, is aligned and ready for this transition.
Throughout the day, our partners and service providers continued to offer wellness check-ups and financial consultations at the University Field, reinforcing our commitment to the holistic well-being of our staff.
As we conclude this second day of learning and reflection, we are energized for the grand finale. Tomorrow, we transition from the auditorium to the field for a day of physical wellness and team building.
Coming up Tomorrow:
- Wellness Walk (3km Challenge)
