On Monday, 24th August 2026, the Archbishop of the Anglican Church of Kenya, The Most Rev. Dr. Jackson Ole Sapit, called on Kabarak University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Henry K. Kiplangat at his office.
The meeting took place right before the official start of the 2nd Bishops and Clergy Conference 2026, hosted on the main campus. The two leaders talked through the partnership between the church and the university, focusing on the shared work of shaping young people and supporting the broader community.
Prof. Kiplangat welcomed the Archbishop to campus, noting that Kabarak values its long-standing connection with the ACK leadership. He shared updates on how the university continues to expand its academic programs, digital learning through the eCampus, and research partnerships across various fields.
Archbishop Ole Sapit expressed his appreciation for the reception and the university's role in grounding education in strong values. The courtesy call set a clear tone of collaboration before both leaders headed out to join delegates for the opening ceremony and Holy Communion service at the Convocation Hall.
