The ENGAGE Project is inviting applications for a fully sponsored Data Science & Artificial Intelligence training programme targeting young women across three tiers:

• Tier 1 – Form 3 Girls (Public Secondary Schools)
• Tier 2 – Final Year STEM Diploma / TVET Students
• Tier 3 – Final Year STEM Undergraduate Students

The programme is approved by the Ministry of Education and is designed to build practical skills in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning, with a strong focus on addressing real-world public health challenges.

Tier 2 & Tier 3 Training (August 2026 Intake)

Training Period: 3rd August – 28th August 2026
Followed by a 6-week internship at a community health facility.

What Tier 2 & 3 Training Entails

Participants will:

• Receive a fully funded 20-day residential training
• Gain hands-on skills in Data Science, AI, and Machine Learning
• Learn to code and deploy models
• Apply their knowledge in real-world healthcare settings during a structured internship
• Engage with mentors and industry professionals

Tier 2 Eligibility (Diploma / TVET)

• Female students in the final year of a STEM Diploma/TVET programme
• Demonstrated strong aptitude in Mathematics
• Applicants from underserved or marginalized communities are encouraged to apply

Tier 3 Eligibility (Undergraduate)

• Female students in the final year of a STEM Undergraduate Degree programme
• Demonstrated strong aptitude in Mathematics
• Applicants from underserved or marginalized communities are encouraged to apply

Tier 1 Training (November/December 2026 Intake)

What Tier 1 Training Entails

Tier 1 is designed to inspire Form 3 girls in public secondary schools with a passion for Mathematics to explore careers in Data Science and AI.

Participants will receive:

• A fully funded 10-day residential training
• Foundational exposure to coding and computational thinking
• Hands-on learning experiences
• Educational learning trips
• Mentorship and career guidance in STEM pathways

Tier 1 Eligibility

• Form 3 girls in public secondary schools
• Strong aptitude in Mathematics
• Applicants from underserved or marginalized communities are encouraged to apply
