In a significant step toward strengthening medical education in East Africa, Kabarak University has officially broken ground for the construction of a modern Anatomy Laboratory.
The groundbreaking ceremony, held at the Main Campus, was led by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Henry Kiplangat. He was joined by members of the University Management Board, faculty from the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, and the project contractors. The new facility is a key part of the University’s 2022–2026 Strategic Plan, which seeks to expand infrastructure to meet the growing demand for quality healthcare training.

Once complete, the Anatomy Laboratory will provide medical students with an advanced, hands-on learning environment designed to support excellence in teaching, research, and clinical preparation. The investment reflects the University’s continued commitment to strengthening its medical programmes and equipping future healthcare professionals with the skills required to serve society effectively.
