In 2024, during her final year as a clinical medicine student, she was crowned Miss Kabarak, a title that became the launchpad for her meteoric rise.

Out of countless contestants, she sprinted into the top seven, proving that her name belonged among Kenya’s finest. Signing with Isis Models was the golden ticket, and soon after, Takangiro placed as the 4th runner-up in Africa’s Next Supermodel, opening the doors to a global runway career.
Now, the girl who once walked through the halls of Kabarak University in a white coat is gracing Milan Fashion Week, signed with Wave Management in Milan and One Management in New York, London, and Spain.
