Silent Streets and Focused Minds

Kabarak University, nestled in the tranquil countryside of Nakuru County in Kenya, is renowned for its academic excellence, vibrant student life, and serene environment. The campus is a hub of activity, with students, staff, and visitors bustling about their daily activities. However, during the exam period, the campus takes on a different vibe. The streets become deserted as students retreat to their study rooms, while the Daniel T. Arap Moi Library overflows with eager learners.

During this time, the campus exudes a unique aura. The once-bustling streets, adorned with trees and lush green grass, now stand empty, with only the occasional student or staff member rushing to or from a class. The silence is only interrupted by the chirping of birds and the rustling of leaves as the gentle breeze sweeps through the campus.

Despite the stillness outside, the Daniel T. Arap Moi Library is a hive of activity during the exam period. This modern library, named after the former Kenyan President, is not just a building but a sanctuary of knowledge and information. It is a place where students come to seek knowledge, gather information, and prepare for their exams. As the students delve into their books, they refer to this period as "Kuokoa Semester", which means saving the semester.

The library is a treasure trove of knowledge, with a vast collection of books, journals, and electronic resources that cater to the needs of the seven schools at Kabarak University. From the School of Business and Economics to the School of Education, the library has something for everyone. It is a vital resource for students and staff alike, providing access to information that helps them excel in their academic pursuits.

The Daniel T. Arap Moi Library is more than just a building filled with books. It is a gateway to knowledge, a hub of information, and a safe haven for students seeking to expand their minds. As an intermediary between knowledge and those who seek it, the library collects, organizes, and stores relevant information materials in both print and electronic media. It then disseminates this information to students and staff of Kabarak University, using modern information technology to provide timely access to all users.

Kabarak University is a serene campus that provides an excellent learning environment for students. During exam periods, the streets are empty as students hunker down to study for their exams. But they are not alone in their pursuit of knowledge. The Daniel T. Arap Moi Library is always there to guide them on their journey toward academic excellence. With its vast collection of resources and knowledgeable staff, the library is a crucial resource that helps students achieve their academic goals.
