Kabarak university Nakuru City Campus earlier this morning received visitors from the Commission of University Education. The visit is geared toward the inspection of the campus for the commission to make a judgment of compliance of the campus to the set university standards, guidelines and regulations and to assess how well the available resources support the student enrolment and programs.
The Commission of University Education team led by Dr. Beatrice Kwech will inspect the library, lecture rooms, equipment and instructional materials, ICT laboratories, ICT services, staff offices, dining areas and kitchen, utility services and campus grounds right after the presentation session by the institution.
The vice chancellor Prof. Henry Kiplangat chaired the meeting attended by the members of management, the members of the commission of Education, and the city campus team led by the Director Dr. Michael Waiganjo. In his speech, he thanked the Commission for University Education for the constant oversight that has enabled the University to make progressive improvements to the facilities and resources on this Campus.
He also reported on the completion of the construction of an ultra-modern three-floor Complex that the University embarked on in 2020 as among the undertaken progressive upgrade and construction of facilities to make the Campus suitable for university operations.
Dr. Beatrice Kwech, the team leader of the CUE having visited the campus before commended the good work the University has put in place the upgrade the facility and making it a center of academic excellence.
