An Unforgettable Weekend at the 2nd Edition of the Nyayo Mediation Moot Competition

Kabarak University continues to lead the way in nurturing talent and innovation in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) through the resounding success of the 2nd Edition of the Nyayo Mediation Moot Competition.

The competition was an inspiring display of mediation excellence, showcasing the incredible skills of our students as they navigated complex scenarios with poise and professionalism. The winning team, Samantha Kavuvi and Maicy Mueni were at the heart of the event and delivered an A-class performance to secure the top spot. Their ability to approach mediation with tact and innovation exemplifies the high standards we uphold here at Kabarak University.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Joshua Yuvinalis, who was named Best Mediator, and Monica Loco, recognized as the 2nd Best Mediator. These students have demonstrated exceptional skill and a deep commitment to the values of integrity and impartiality central to effective mediation.

This unforgettable event concluded with a spectacular Thanksgiving gala dinner, celebrating the achievements of all participants. Special thanks go to Joseph Mungai, Dennis Onyango, Sylvia Makena, Kelvin Musyimi, and Michelle Maena, whose tireless efforts behind the scenes ensured that the competition was a resounding success.

Organized by the Alternative Dispute Resolution Club and the Center for Multiple Justice Systems, both under the visionary leadership of Mr. Gordon Ogola, this event is a testament to Kabarak University's unwavering dedication to fostering alternative solutions to conflicts and nurturing the next generation of leaders in ADR.

As we reflect on the remarkable performances and the collective spirit of collaboration and excellence, we look forward to future editions of the Nyayo Mediation Moot Competition, where more bright minds will continue to shine.
