Empowering Innovation: Kabarak University's School of Business and Economics 13th Annual International Research Conference.

Kabarak University's 13th Annual International Research Conference, organized by the School of Business and Economics, embraced the theme "Empowering Innovation, Nurturing Futures through Business Incubation." Officially opened by Vice Chancellor Prof. Henry Kiplangat, the event highlighted the university's dedication to fostering creativity and entrepreneurship. Prof. Kiplangat emphasized the essential role of innovation in driving economic growth and sustainable development.

Guest Speaker Mr. Dennis Kayeli, Chief Technical Officer and Co-founder of Jipamba, discussed "Nurturing Futures through Business Incubation," shedding light on the vital support startups need, from resources to mentorship. Keynote Speaker Mr. Rono Philip Meli, Economic Advisor for the County Government of Uasin Gishu, underscored the collaborative efforts required between academia, government, and the private sector to cultivate a thriving environment for innovation and entrepreneurship.

The conference featured presentations, providing a platform for knowledge exchange among researchers, industry experts, and students. The event concluded with a call to action for continued support of initiatives that empower young innovators and future leaders in business and economics.
