Peace Ambassadors Kenya - Kabarak Chapter Plants Over 10,000 Trees at MAU Forest to Combat Climate Change

On April 15, 2023, the Peace Ambassadors Kenya (PAK) Kabarak University Chapter, in collaboration with other PAK chapters, including those from Egerton and Multimedia, participated in an environmental conservation activity. The event was organized under the Green Print initiative by the PAK Nairobi management team and aimed to plant trees at the MAU forest.

The students' climate change initiatives were the driving force behind this initiative, and over 10,000 trees were planted to restore the MAU forest. Owino William, PAK-Kabarak Chapter Coordinator, was present, among other members, and they were accompanied by the Coordinator of Outreach and Linkages, a climate change champion.

The event was a resounding success, and the PAK team expressed their gratitude to everyone who participated. It was an excellent opportunity for students to actively engage in environmental conservation activities and demonstrate their commitment to sustainable development.

The Peace Ambassadors Kenya is a national team that can be found on the website via www.pambio.org. Their goal is to create a peaceful and prosperous society through active participation in community development projects. Their efforts towards environmental conservation have not gone unnoticed, and their commitment to sustainable development is a great example to follow.

Environmental conservation activities such as tree planting have become increasingly necessary as climate change continues to impact our planet. As such, the PAK Kabarak University Chapter's efforts towards planting trees at the MAU forest are commendable. It is also heartening to see other PAK chapters and environment-related clubs joining hands to work towards a common goal.

As the famous adage goes, "Dirty hands clean environment." Through our collective effort, we can create a sustainable and prosperous future for ourselves and future generations. The PAK Kabarak University Chapter has set an excellent example that all should emulate in the fight against climate change. Let us all take inspiration from their efforts and work towards a greener and more sustainable future.
