The four-day orientation programme for Kabarak University’s September 2026 first-year students concluded on Thursday, 10 September, after a week of sessions designed to help the new students settle into university life and understand the academic, spiritual and support structures available to them.

Wednesday, 9 September, focused strongly on the academic environment. Students interacted with deans from the University’s seven schools during an academic orientation session. The deans introduced students to their respective academic schools and guided what to expect as they begin their programmes.

The academic session was followed by a chapel service, allowing the new students to reflect on their faith and their place within Kabarak University’s Christian community.

In the afternoon, members of the University Management Board led sessions covering Administration and Finance, Academic Affairs, and Spiritual and Student Affairs. The sessions introduced students to key university structures and the services that support their academic and personal development.

The final day, Thursday, began with a Coffee Hour organised by Student Affairs. Male and female students met in separate venues for the session, providing an opportunity to engage, connect and reflect on their first days at the University.

The Vice-Chancellor’s address to the new students will be communicated in due course.

The orientation, organised by the Office of the Dean of Students, began on Monday, 7 September, with sessions covering faith development, campus safety and security, student life, mental health, career guidance, substance abuse and other aspects of university life.

As the September 2026 first-years now begin their academic journey, the University welcomes them to The University of Now and the Future and wishes them a successful and rewarding time at Kabarak University.
