Kabarak University Hosts Inspiring Workshop for Computer Science Education Week

Kabarak University kicked off its Computer Science Education Week in style with a transformative one-day workshop on December 4th, 2024, held at the School of Law's Sawia Auditorium. The workshop, organized with the support of the ENGAGE program, highlighted cutting-edge advancements in data science and artificial intelligence (AI), as well as their game-changing applications in public health.

Our Experience at the 2nd Western Region Christian Student Leadership Conference

From November 22nd to 24th, 2024, we, Christian student leaders from Kabarak University, had the privilege of attending the 2nd Western Region Christian Student Leadership Conference held at the RCEA Conference Centre in Eldoret. The conference, themed “Leadership That Influences,” brought together 115 Christian student leaders from 14 universities across the country. Accompanied by our University Counselor, Pastor Esther Kapsir, our team included myself, Kipngetich Theophilus, alongside Elizabeth Chepkorir, Meekson Kibet, Carol Wacera, Ian Kipsang, and Joshua Munene.

A Heartwarming Day of Community Service as Nakuru City Campus and KABU TVET Students Visit QK Children’s Home

On November 16, 2024, students from Kabarak University’s Nakuru City Campus and KABU TVET Institute came together in a remarkable display of love, service, and unity. Motivated by a shared mission to make a difference, peer counselors, members of the Christian Union, and students affiliated with the Africa Youth Leadership Forum (AYLF) collaborated on an initiative to bring joy and hope to the children of QK Children’s Home in Kiamunyi.

Kabarak University Finalists' Wednesday Chapel Service Bids Farewell to the Class of 2024

Today marked a significant milestone as Kabarak University bid farewell to its Class of 2024, the 42s and 53s, in a heartfelt Finalists’ Chapel Service held at the Convocation Hall. This poignant occasion was filled with gratitude, anticipation, and inspiring messages as the final-year students gathered for one last time, creating an atmosphere brimming with excitement and nostalgia.

Kabarak University Students Excel at the 24th Session of the Kenya Model United Nations Second Mock Debate

On November 9, 2024, sixty of our Kabarak University Model United Nations (KMUN) delegates embarked on an early morning journey to Kenyatta University for the Second Mock Debate of the 24th KMUN session. The trip began at 4:30 a.m., with a spirited stop at Safari Centre Naivasha for breakfast, energizing our team and setting a positive tone for the day ahead. Our early arrival placed us among the first to reach the Kenyatta University Main Campus, allowing our delegates to settle in and prepare for an enriching day of debate, collaboration, and learning.

Kabarak University AYLF Chapter Joins Africa's Future Leaders at Mount Kenya University Summit

On October 26, 2024, Kabarak University's Africa Youth Leadership Forum (AYLF) chapter took a significant step in advancing its mission to nurture impactful leaders by attending the annual AYLF Leadership Summit at Mount Kenya University’s Main Campus. With this year’s theme, “Shaping the Future of Leadership in Africa,” the summit aimed to strengthen Africa's leadership foundation—a goal that resonates deeply within the Kabarak University community.
