Kabarak University Gears Up for KUSO Elections

Excitement is building at Kabarak University as students gear up for the annual Kabarak University Students Organization (KUSO) elections on February 6th. Ahead of the much-anticipated event, candidates participated in a spirited debate at the Kabarak University Convocational Hall, presenting their manifestos and engaging with the student body.

KMUN Kabarak Chapter Triumph at the 22nd Session Model United Nations Mock Debate

The 22nd Session Model United Nations came alive for Kabarak Kmun as 60 students embarked on a transformative journey to the University of Nairobi's Mombasa campus. The excitement began with an early departure from school on January 19th at 3:00 am, weaving through picturesque landscapes with pit stops at Sabaki, Machakos, and Mtito Andei, where breakfast was savored. The seamless journey led to the welcoming arms of Mombasa at 5:00 pm, with accommodations split between Sunset Paradise Holiday Homes and Beachfront Holiday Homes in Shanzu.

Retirement Ceremony for Reverend Professor Jacob Kibor at Kabarak University

On Friday, January 5, 2024, Kabarak University hosted a retirement celebration in honor of the university's longest-serving Provost, Reverend Professor Jacob Kibor. The event brought together distinguished individuals within the university community, including Dr. John Kibosia, who leads the members of the Governing Council, and Vice-Chancellor Professor Henry Kiplangat, who chairs the members of management at Kabarak University. Also in attendance were the deans of various schools, heads of departments, staff, and the university choir.

Addressing Mental Health in Kenyan Universities: Kabarak University Counselors Attend Annual KUPCA Workshop

In a collaborative effort to tackle the rising concerns of depression and suicide among students in Kenyan institutions of higher learning, counselors from Kabarak University have actively participated in the annual workshop organized by the Kenya Universities Professional Counselors Association (KUPCA). Held at The University of Nairobi's Main Campus, this three-day event brings together counselors from various universities across Kenya to delve into crucial topics under the theme, 'Depression and suicide among students in institutions of higher learning in Kenya: Look around, look within.'

Kabarak University City Campus Sports & Fun Day: A Day of Thrills and Achievements

On November 25, 2023, the Kabarak University Student Organisation (KUSO) directors orchestrated a spectacular event that brought the City Campus alive with energy and excitement. The Nakuru City Campus Sports & Fun Day held from 1200hrs to 1700hrs, was a collaborative effort between KUSO leaders and the dedicated staff led by the Senior Assistant Dean of Students City Campus, Dr. Njenga Eunice, and City Campus Counselor, Ms. Kombich Veronicah.
