Kabarak University's Cultural Week Gala Crowns New Royalty

Kabarak University's vibrant 2024 Cultural Week culminated in a spectacular Gala Night event. Mr. David Mukiti from the School of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Miss Magdaline Takangiro from the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, were officially crowned Mr. and Miss Kabarak 2024. The highly anticipated event brought the university community together in a celebration of cultural diversity and student excellence. Shortlisted contestants showcased their talents, grace, and passion throughout the week, leading up to the grand finale. The Gala Night itself was a dazzling display of music, dance, and cultural performances, creating a festive atmosphere that resonated with the entire audience. As Mr. and Miss Kabarak 2024, they will serve as ambassadors for the university throughout the coming year, representing Kabarak at various events and inspiring the student body. Their reign promises to be marked by a spirit of inclusivity and a celebration of Kabarak's rich cultural tapestry. Promoting Health and Wellbeing at Nakuru City Campus

From March 11th to 15th, 2024, Kabarak University's Nakuru City Campus buzzed with activity as they hosted a comprehensive Health Awareness Week. This initiative, organized by the Counselling section in collaboration with KABU Medical Centre, aimed to empower staff and students with knowledge and resources to prioritize their physical and mental well-being.

Kabarak University Reaches Out to Nakuru Hill Special School

On March 9th, 2024, a group from Kabarak University's Nakuru City Campus, including the Christian Union, Peer Counselors, and AYLF Club, embarked on a community outreach program to Nakuru Hill Special School. Led by their patron, Ms. Veronicah Kombich, the group aimed to spread love and support to the school's special needs students.

Strengthening Our Support System: Case Conferencing at Kabarak University City Campus

On Thursday, March 7, 2024, Kabarak University's Department of Guidance and Counseling held a case conferencing event at the City Campus. This valuable initiative brought together our experienced counselors (Rev. Dr. Langat, Rev. Korir, Ms. Veronica Kombchi, and Pr. Esther Mwende) and our dedicated peer counselors.

Kabarak University Student Leaders from Different Schools Associations Commissioned for Purposeful Leadership

Kabarak University celebrated the commissioning of its student leaders from various school associations during a heartfelt ceremony at the weekly Wednesday chapel service. Representatives from KUBSA (Business Students Association), KUPSA (Pharmacy Students Association), KUESA (Education Students Association), KUSSA (School of Science, Engineering and Technology Association), KUMSA (Medical Students Association), and KULSA (Law Students Association) were dedicated and officially entrusted with their leadership roles.

The Kabarak University Christian Union (KUCU) recently held a two-day crusade at the Rafiki Center, led by the university's Ag Provost, Rev. Justus Mutuku. This remarkable initiative aimed to foster spiritual growth and unity within the university community.
