Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR) Outreach

Kabarak University through the Directorate of Research, Innovation and Outreach organized and invited Dandelion Africa to conduct a 2 day sensitization and testing on HIV and Cervical Cancer to students and staff of Kabarak University on 23rd and 24th June 2021.

Kabarak University through the Directorate of Research, Innovation and Outreach organized and invited Dandelion Africa to conduct a 2 day sensitization and testing on HIV and Cervical Cancer to students and staff of Kabarak University on 23rd and 24th June 2021.

The objective of the outreach was to share information on HIV/AIDS and STIs to the staff and students by the Youth Peer Providers from Dandelion Africa and Peer Educators from Kabarak University and sensitize students and staff on importance of HIV testing and cervical cancer screening and preparation to receive results.upto 30 students and staff were tested and received guidance and treatment for those that were affected

Mobilization and publicity was done by student affairs, department of guidance and counseling led by Pastor Esther Kipsir.
