Hospitality Students Build Real-World Skills Through Practical Training

Great hospitality begins with practice, and that's exactly what students at Kabarak University are doing every week.

Hospitality students from the School of Business and Economics (SBE) recently took part in another practical training session, where the focus was on the skills they will use every day in the workplace. From preparing and presenting meals to mastering basic cooking techniques, serving guests professionally, and creating a warm first impression, every activity reflected the realities of the hospitality industry.

These practical sessions, held every Tuesday and Thursday, give students the chance to apply what they learn in class in a real working environment. Working together in the training kitchen helps them build confidence, pay attention to detail, and understand the standards expected in hotels, restaurants, and other hospitality establishments.

By combining academic knowledge with regular hands-on training, we prepare our students to graduate with the skills, confidence, and professional mindset needed to succeed in the hospitality and tourism industry.
