From Healing Hands to Hearts: Kabarak University Spreads Hope and Healing at Nakuru PGH

In a heartwarming display of compassion, Kabarak University recently embarked on a hospital outreach ministry, bringing a message of hope and spiritual solace to patients at Nakuru Level 5 Provincial General Hospital (PGH). Led by the Acting University Chaplain, Rev. Laban Kittony, and the ever-inspiring Pastor Esther Kapsir, who spearheaded the Christian Union efforts, a dedicated team of 120 students fanned out across the hospital wards on June 15th, 2024.

Their mission was simple yet profound: to minister to patients in their time of need. The students, brimming with empathy and faith, walked alongside patients, offering prayers, heartfelt counseling, and a beacon of hope in the face of illness. The impact was undeniable. Many patients, touched by the students' genuine care, took a significant step towards spiritual renewal, choosing to embrace Jesus Christ into their lives. For others, the outreach program served as a much-needed source of encouragement, reminding them they are not alone in their struggles.

This impactful initiative wouldn't have been possible without the unwavering support of the Kabarak University management. Their commitment to cultivating a spirit of service within the university community is truly commendable. Through their backing, Kabarak University not only provides exceptional medical care but also recognizes the importance of spiritual well-being in the healing process.

The success of the hospital outreach ministry underscores Kabarak University's dedication to extending its reach beyond the classroom walls. By offering emotional and spiritual support to those in need, the university empowers its students to become not just skilled professionals but also compassionate individuals who make a positive difference in the lives of others.
