Kabarak University Hosts Mount Kenya University for Human Resource Benchmarking Visit

Kabarak University today welcomed a delegation from Mount Kenya University (MKU) for a significant benchmarking visit focused on Human Resource processes and procedures. The MKU team, led by their HR Director, Mr. Kevin Kinyoro, was hosted by Kabarak University's management, spearheaded by the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Administration and Finance, Professor Ronald Chepkilot.

The visit, which commenced this morning, saw productive discussions and insights shared between the two institutions. The primary purpose of MKU's visit was to conduct a benchmarking exercise on Kabarak University's Human Resource practices, specifically focusing on its staff management. This initiative reflects a mutual commitment to gaining practical insights into various HR processes, including recruitment and selection, performance management, HR policy implementation, employee relations, and the use of HR information systems.

The Kabarak University management expressed its appreciation for Mount Kenya University's engagement in this benchmarking exercise, underscoring the importance of collaborative learning and best practice sharing within the higher education sector.
