On Monday 26th November 2024, Kabarak University hosted a distinguished delegation from Kyambogo University, Uganda, for a productive benchmarking visit focused on the implementation of ISO 9001:2015 standards, quality assurance, and the integration of ICT in service delivery. The delegation, led by Prof. Maria Musoke, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs, and Sis. Dr. Maria Goretti Kaahwa, Director of Quality Assurance, was warmly received by Kabarak University’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Henry Kiplangat, alongside Prof. John Ochola, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Academic and Research. During their courtesy call, Prof. Kiplangat expressed his delight at hosting the team, emphasizing the value of regional collaboration in enhancing higher education standards. He highlighted how Kabarak University’s adoption of global standards and strategic ICT integration has transformed the institution into a beacon of academic innovation and excellence.
