The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Henry Kiplangat, recently led a site walk-through of the university's new anatomy laboratory, currently under construction, alongside project engineers, members of the University Management Board (UMB), and faculty from the School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
The walkthrough focused on core structural work, including spatial capacity, proper ventilation systems, specialized lab stations, and the integration points required for modern medical teaching tools. On-site checks like this allow university management to keep capital projects aligned with safety standards and international medical training requirements.
Once completed, the new facility will expand Kabarak's capacity for hands-on, practical medical training and research. The construction team remains on track to complete the project on schedule.
