Members of University Management, project leaders, the project consultant, and the contractor visited the ongoing construction site for the anatomy laboratory to review the progress of the construction works, assess the quality of implementation, and discuss project timelines and key milestones. The engagement forms part of the University's commitment to ensuring that the facility is delivered to the highest standards of quality and within the planned schedule.
During the visit, the team received updates on the progress made since the groundbreaking and held discussions on the remaining phases of construction. Particular emphasis was placed on maintaining quality workmanship, adhering to approved specifications, and ensuring timely completion of the project to support the University's growing medical training programmes.
The new Anatomy Laboratory is a strategic investment that will significantly enhance practical teaching and learning within the School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Once completed, the facility will provide students with a modern, well-equipped environment for anatomy instruction, practical demonstrations, research, and clinical skills development, further strengthening Kabarak University's capacity to train competent and compassionate healthcare professionals.
The visit also provided an opportunity for the University to engage directly with the contractor and consultant, strengthening the importance of collaboration, accountability, and continuous monitoring throughout the construction process. Regular progress reviews are essential in ensuring that the project meets the University's expectations for safety, quality, functionality, and long-term sustainability.
The new Anatomy Laboratory stands as another milestone in Kabarak University's journey of providing quality education grounded in Biblical perspective while continually investing in facilities that empower students to excel academically, professionally, and in service to society.
