Our very own goalkeeping sensation, Peter Juma, has been selected for the Harambee Stars U-20 squad to compete in the upcoming AFCON U-20 CECAFA qualifiers in October.
A Hospitality Management student at Kabarak University TVET institute, Juma, at just 18, has already made waves both at Kabarak University and beyond. He has been an impenetrable defensive force, keeping clean sheets and making remarkable saves under the tactical guidance of Dr. Justine Oguta.
Juma has proven to be a crucial player between the posts, representing both the Kabarak University football team and Nakuru Backs. His shot-stopping abilities, quick reflexes, and commanding presence in the penalty area have caught the eye of Coach Salim Babu, earning him the prestigious call-up to represent the nation.
Having already reported to camp, Juma is preparing to defend Kenya's goal in the qualifiers. His ability to parry shots and organize the defense will be key. As the qualifiers approach, football fans at Kabarak University and across the country will be cheering on the young star, hoping that he will make his mark on the international stage and help the Harambee Stars U-20 secure their place in AFCON.
