Kabarak University's auditorium was alive with excitement on Monday, September 9, 2024, as we welcomed our newest cohort of students for the September-December 2024 intake. The three-day orientation program, which runs through Wednesday, September 11, is designed to equip our students with the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful academic journey.

The orientation started with a Faith Development session, where our students were immersed in our mission and moral code, "Education in Biblical Perspective." This session provided a spiritual foundation for their academic journey and reinforced the importance of integrity and ethical conduct.

Our students were also briefed on creating a conducive and sustainable learning environment. They were guided on navigating the complexities of modern campus life, including balancing studies, social media, cohabitation, and cultural integration.

To prioritize the well-being of our students, we partnered with NACADA to conduct a sensitization session on drugs and substance abuse. The session provided valuable information on the dangers of substance abuse and offered practical strategies for avoiding harmful substances.

In addition, our career guidance counselors led a session to equip our students with the necessary skills for academic and professional success. They provided insights into career paths, job search strategies, and networking opportunities.
