Kabarak University Welcomes Students from Matunda S.A and Lemek Namunyak Girls Secondary Schools

Kabarak University in a heartwarming display of commitment to education and community engagement, opened its doors to students from Matunda S.A Secondary School and Lemek Namunyak Girls Secondary School. This event, which took place in the vibrant atmosphere of the School of Music and Media Amphitheatre, was a momentous occasion that left a lasting impact on both the visiting students and the university community.

As the sun painted the campus in warm hues, students from Matunda S.A and Lemek Namunyak Girls Secondary Schools, two institutions nestled within the picturesque landscapes of Transnzoia and Narok County respectively, arrived at Kabarak University with a sense of anticipation and excitement. Their visit was not just about stepping onto a new campus but rather about embarking on a journey of inspiration, motivation, and educational empowerment.

One of the highlights of the visit was the motivational talk delivered to the students. They young minds were encouraged to embrace their studies, persevere through challenges, and give their best in the upcoming Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams. The message was clear: Education is the key to transforming Kenya, and it starts with each student's dedication to their studies.

The students from Lemek Namunyak Girls Secondary School were accompanied by members of the Bless a Soul International (BASI) Organization, led by Pastor Michael Parsimei. BASI is an organization that provides mentorship and support to students in the Narok area, empowering them to excel in their education. The collaboration between BASI and Kabarak University demonstrates a shared commitment to nurturing young talent and helping them realize their full potential.

As the motivational talk filled the air with hope and determination, the students from Matunda S.A and Lemek Namunyak Girls Secondary Schools couldn't help but be inspired. The belief that their dreams were attainable began to take root, and the path to a brighter future seemed clearer than ever.

But the day wasn't just about serious discussions and academic goals; it was also about celebrating the arts. The students of the Department of Music at Kabarak University, with their talent and enthusiasm, provided entertainment that resonated with the visiting students. Music has a unique ability to bridge gaps, communicate emotions, and uplift spirits, and it was a beautiful way to connect with the young guests.

Kabarak University has long been a proponent of education that extends beyond the classroom. It recognizes that true empowerment involves nurturing talent, providing mentorship, and instilling the belief that every student has the potential to transform not only their own lives but also their communities and their nation. By opening its doors and embracing these students, Kabarak University takes its position in the frontline of empowering and preparing future leaders for university life.
