Kabarak University's Heartwarming Huduma Day Celebration at Emining School for the Visually Impaired

In a beautiful display of solidarity and community spirit, Kabarak University joined hands to celebrate Huduma Day with Emining School for the Visually Impaired. Led by Pr. Esther, the University Counselor, and Rhoda Chemoiwo from the Procurement Department, alongside staff members from various departments, including procurement, counselors/peer counselors, the Kenya Model United Nations Club, and the Africa Leadership Forum, the day was filled with heartwarming activities and shared moments.

The diverse activities ranged from cooking for the school community, staff, and students to cleaning classrooms, dormitories, and the school compound. The university community came together to make the day special, leaving no stone unturned in their efforts.

However, the celebrations went beyond just labor; they included joyful interactions with the children through music, dance, one-on-one encouragement, and the sharing of the word of God. Additionally, the university community generously shared numerous gifts, all of which had been lovingly donated.

Madam Caro, the school's principal, expressed profound gratitude to Kabarak University for the overwhelming support they received. The kindness, care, and dedication of the Kabarak team made Huduma Day a truly unforgettable memory for the children and staff at Emining School for the Visually Impaired.

This heartwarming event also stands as a testament to the unwavering support of Kabarak University's Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Henry Kiplangat, and the University Management Board (UMB). The university continues to be a beacon of hope and light for those in need, demonstrating that acts of kindness have the power to illuminate lives and create a more inclusive and compassionate world. Huduma Day at Kabarak University is a celebration of unity, compassion, and the enduring commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others.
